Also for those who are local to the Southeast another great thing that you can do to get your lawn looking good is to apply an application of limestone either liquid, pulverized or pelleted can really help your yard to get to that next level of greenness.

I wish more people would write sites like this that are actually helpful to read. With all the garbage floating around on the internet, it is rare to read a site like yours instead.

Many people use pressure washers the wrong way. They think they are made to "power" the dirt off. In reality high pressure does more damage than good. Low pressure with proper cleaners is the key. I can see why companies would not warranty their products against pressure washers.

I am a representative of Trex and would like to comment:
Trex does not recommend the use of a power washer
and will not warranty claims on products that are
damaged while using a power-washer. Every effort
should be made to follow the Trex Care and Cleaning
guide to remove any staining prior to using a pressure
-washer.

Should you choose to use a pressure-washer, here are
guidelines to follow.

o A pressure-washer with 1500 psi or less must
 be used
o A fan spray pattern to protect the Trex surface.
o The Tip should remain 12" or farther from the decking
 surface.
