Many people use pressure washers the wrong way. They think they are made to “power” the dirt off. In reality high pressure does more damage than good. Low pressure with proper cleaners is the key. I can see why companies would not warranty their products against pressure washers.

I am a representative of Trex and would like to comment: Trex does not recommend the use of a power washer and will not warranty claims on products that are damaged while using a power-washer. Every effort should be made to follow the Trex Care and Cleaning guide to remove any staining prior to using a pressure -washer.
