With cooler weather here in Jackson County Georgia most grasses are slowing to a crawl and going dormant. It grows nicely in the cold weather and brightens things up when winter has everything else looking dreary. The annual rye is only $30 for 50 pounds. It will die out in about May when it gets hot but it is worth the money.
